Neues Line-up, frischer Wind:

The engine is revving up again:

Motorjesus from Mönchengladbach are back with their eighth studio album, Streets of Fire. The five-piece from North Rhine-Westphalia are racing into a dark future of heavy rock with their foot flat to the metal and their high-octane heavy rock.

Full throttle instead of standstill:

The band's sound combines powerful rock “n” roll à la Motörhead, Turbonegro or Gluecifer with the epic metal spirit of the 80s – somewhere between Somewhere in Time, Screaming for Vengeance and a double dose of punk attitude. No ballads, no compromise – instead, compact songwriting, groove and anthemic choruses to sing along to. Or rather: to roar along.

The return to the Streets of Fire:

With Hellbreaker, Motorjesus already made it to number 20 in the German album charts and once again made a name for themselves on club stages and festival grounds (including Summer Breeze and Rock Hard Festival). In the past, they have shared the stage with greats such as Motörhead, Anthrax, Mustasch, Prong and Der W.

Earthy, loud, authentic:

Despite their long band history and steady success, the band has remained free of pretensions. Instead, five down-to-earth musicians take to the stage, proudly displaying their love of rock “n” roll and 70s muscle cars – not least through their iconic band mascot, the ‘motorised Jesus’, which has long since become an integral part of their artwork.

New line-up, fresh wind:

With their current line-up, Motorjesus are relying on familiar strengths – but also on new impulses. Small changes in the line-up provide fresh drive in the songwriting without denying the band's roots. Guitar solos burn, the riffs are spot on – and the typical Motorjesus sound is expanded with a few exciting new facets.
